Once again we hear that a director of children’s services has been fired, no surprise.
The poor man was on a meagre salary of £318,500, I expect thats why the service he was in charge of was and still is ,not protecting our children.
The service in Somerset is considered by Ofsted in their report as inadequate, when children are not being properly protected , its more than ‘inadequate,’ it is neglect, by the very authorities who should be protecting them. It is abuse.
I would suggest that in my experience this is not just one area of the UK ,that our children are being neglected by authorities, which includes every single person in the Children and Families departments, Social workers, senior managers are all to blame.
It is time for someone to take responsibility.
Children have been let down yesterday, today and will be for the foreseeable future.
Everyone has to put children first.
