A question that is asked of me constantly is, ‘Why, don’t government do something.’
We have all witnessed the continual mention of grandparents during the Covid-19 Pandemic, almost at every Press Conference, the relationship between a grandparent and a grandchild has played out in our living rooms. The understanding of how being isolated from those you love has affected millions of families.
Without exception every reply you or I have ever received from an MP or Minister, will also say they recognise the importance of this unique relationship.
And yet, when people are campaigning for changes, the silence grows.
I have always said that be it Parental or Grandparent Alienation, it is a political hot potato and it is.
I talk about groups who are in opposition for there ever being changes, and sadly they are still there, absolutely hell-bent on blocking at every turn.
Radical feminists, are very powerful people,
So who are radical feminists?
In my view, they are not those who believe in equality in the true sense of the word. They hide behind that banner. There should be no argument that equality is right, no one person is any better than any other.
Radical feminism is a perspective within feminism that calls for a radical reordering of society in which male supremacy is eliminated in all social and economic contexts.Radical feminists argue that, because of patriarchy, women have come to be viewed as the “other” to the male norm, and as such have been systematically oppressed and marginalised. Radical feminists believe that men (as a class) use social systems and other methods of control to keep women (and non-dominant men) suppressed. Ti-Grace Atkinson maintained that the need for power fuels the male class to continue oppressing the female class, arguing that “the need men have for the role of oppressor is the source and foundation of all human oppression”.
The radical feminists portray ALL men as being bad, and that it is ONLY women who are victims of Domestic Abuse.
If they truly believed in equality in the true sense, they would not make that stance, they would not try to destroy those of us who disagree.
Erin Pizzey as you know is one of our Patrons, and she has years of vast experience on the subject of Feminism, here is one of her quotes:
It isn’t a politically good idea to threaten the huge budgets for women’s refuges by saying that some of the women who go into them aren’t total victims. Family life was and always will be the foundation of any civilisation. Destroy the family and you destroy the country.
That is precisely what the radical feminists are doing, they are destroying families.
When they go to court they raise the Domestic Abuse flag, in the full knowledge that once they do that, no-one will question it. We know of hundreds of thousands of false allegations that pass through the courts, year on year.
A father will have a false allegation made against them, and there is nothing they can do, guilty before proven innocent!
I need to say at this point, that Domestic Abuse is absolutely not acceptable, and if proven then it must be dealt with.
Domestic Abuse is NOT a gender issue.
As a women, I know and have met some very violent women in my life, women can be as violent as men and much more devious.
Of course I can say that because I am a women, if a man said it , it would hit the headlines.
So, back to the question of why, doesn’t government implement change?
No -one in government will go against this powerful lobbying group, there are also radical feminists as MP’s and as ministers, they can’t oppose them for fear of being accused of discrimination.
Some how we all have to start a dialogue with the feminists groups if we want to make any headway, in putting children first. An honest and open adult conversation.
