What is a blog?

There appears to be a misunderstanding  sometimes as to what blogs are, so hear is the definition:”A regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style.”

These blogs are my own personal thoughts and musings and I get my spelling and grammar wrong frequently but I do write from the heart.

When I receive communication, 3 to be precise in the last few weeks, telling me how to run our group or what to write in my personal blogs, written by people who insist in hiding behind a pseudonym, should I listen?

I set up BGSG when I lost contact with my own grandchild, I thought I was alone but I soon discovered that was very far from the truth. I have supported over 2 1/2 thousand grandparents in 8 years, and made some life long friends as a result.

Sadly I seem to have made enemies as well.

This is a really busy time for BGSG at the moment, and I would really like to focus on all of that rather than being accused of all sorts of stuff.

Many thanks to all of those who are supportive and giving their precious time and energy in helping others, thats where the focus should be.
