What an incredibly moving collection of poems, many sad, all inspiring, thank you so much.

Erin Pizzey Patron of Bristol Grandparents Support Group,

Thank you,  for the copy of beautiful heartache poems written by grandparents and their families who have been decimated and many destroyed by the loss of their grandchildren. I am proud to have this precious book on my bookshelves.

This is a fabulous book, wonderfully put together and full of beautiful poems and heartfelt reflections on the relationships between grandparents and their grandchildren. In our modern society where families too often suffer from fragmentation and separation, this lovely book gives us all a chance to share and reflect on the loss that grandparents experience when denied building or continuing a loving relationship with their grandchildren. It was an honour to illustrate this book thank you for giving me an opportunity to be part of this important project.

Never Forgotten is a collection of poems written by Grandparents, who like me, are alienated from their children and grandchildren. The pain of alienation is found on every page and reading through the book will show that although our grandchildren are precious to us we are not alone, we share our pain with many others and have the support of many when our tears flow. We are told in one poem to ” Keep Believing “; that there is always hope; that nothing stays the same and one day ” we will look up at the sky together”. And we must believe and trust this will happen.

A beautiful book, with amazing illustrations.

Received my copy of ‘NEVER FORGOTTEN’ yesterday. This morning, I sat and read every one of the poems. Everyone reaching out wanting to see their grandchildren again and how much they are missed through cruel alienation. Poetry is a good way to express our feelings.

I received my copy of ‘Never Forgotten’ yesterday. A book of poignancy, of loss, endurance but one of hope. The starkness of estrangement is on every page but so is the deep love that we hold for our grandchildren caught up in grownups abusive behaviour. The simplicity of the layout, the rawness of each poem pays homage to every grandparent who find themselves on this painful path.

Received the book today can’t stop reading the poems.

Amazing achievement.

This book has just arrived and all I can say is wow. The heartache expressed within these pages has left me in tears and currently unable to get past page 8….proud to own this book.

This is a beautiful collection of poems straight from the heart. Very heartfelt and heart breaking too. I have a favourite, but all are worthy of reading and absorbing by all. Hope you are going to do more as I think many more people, myself included, would like to have their thoughts and feelings put down for ever in a similar collection.

I received my book yesterday and was very impressed by the professionalism and sincerity. Beautifully drawn pictures, heartfelt poems and a wonderful forward from our Patron Erin Pizzey.

Jane, as a newbie to this group and the dreadful realisation of living bereavement, I found this book to be like a comfort blanket. This book is not only a collection of meaningful poems but also a collaboration of emotions.

The beautiful poems in the ‘Never Forgotten’ Poetry Book are so sincerely written we are in tears getting through them. We cannot get through them easily. We feel your reaching out so much: as we all do. That expression of unconditional love and so valuable a lost time . Those magical moments with Nanna and Bamps shared with the Grandchildren that we have all lost. Breaks your heart that they have to be written in the first place.
