Eternally Grateful.

In 2007 when I started the journey that became Bristol Grandparents Support Group, I never imagined in my wildest dreams what would take place.

Losing contact with my granddaughter was devastating, and heartbreaking, but in nearly 8years, I have met the most amazing people.

These amazing people pull me through this maze of emotions.

We can become engulfed in such negative thoughts that is difficult to notice that the human race in general are kind, giving and unique.

As you know we are holding a concert on 30th November to raise funds for our charity. As a charity we rely on donations, we are an independent group.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting some of the children, who will be singing in the choir.

Sitting listening to nearly 40 children singing with such feeling and concentration was extremely moving, they reduced me to tears.

There are a huge number of people taking part, performers coming from all over the country.

To try and put into words how this makes me feel is very difficult.

To think that all of these fantastic people of all ages want to be part of this, people who trust us for what we are trying to do is unbelivable.

I will never be able to thank them enough, the amount of work involved for them all is enormous and the only time they will all be  together will be for a few hours just before the performance itself.

I am so blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful people.

Thank you.

Jane.
